This 16-hour course is designed to strengthen your organization by identifying and understanding the roles, duties and responsibilities of association board members. Participants will learn the skills necessary to deal with the day-to-day operations of running an association, from parliamentary procedures to fiduciary duties. Additional subject matter includes defining an association, organizational models, conflict resolution, corporate responsibilities, financial management, the duty of fair representation, bylaws, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of association board members.

New or current board members who have not attended or need updated training, anyone interested in becoming a board member or who would like to become more knowledgeable in the subject matter.
