Officer Craven was returning from jail when she witnessed a serious injury collision on the freeway. Officer Craven stopped her patrol vehicle to assist the motorists involved in the collision. While helping the motorists, Officer Craven was struck by another vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts by responding officers, Officer Craven succumbed to her injuries.

October 03, 2025, Officer Raymond Barrantes was involved in an on-duty traffic collision. Despite the swift and courageous efforts of first responders, our officer succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the crash while on scene.
