The City of Healdsburg has one vacancy within the Police Department that will be filled with a Police Officer Recruit (January 2024 Academy), Entry-Level Police Officer or with a Lateral Police Officer.

In addition to a competitive salary ($7,438 – $9,493/mo.), retirement through CalPERS, and generous benefits package, you may be eligible for a hiring incentive and relocation assistance:

In addition to a competitive salary ($7,152 – $9,128/mo., with a 4% salary increase effective July 2023), retirement through CalPERS and generous benefits package, you may be eligible for a hiring incentive and relocation assistance:

• $3,500 upon hire for Entry Level Officers or Police Academy Graduates and $3,500 upon successful completion of probation.
• $5,000 upon hire for Lateral Officers and $5,000 upon successful completion of probation. 
• Relocation Assistance up to $2,500 for candidates outside of a 100-mile radius of the city.
