Sean McKrell is a Lieutenant with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently assigned as the Southern Marin Station Commander and runs the Patrol Field Training Program for the MCSO. He was the president of the Marin County Deputy Sheriff’s Association from 2013 -2016. In 2017, Sean was elected as the director of the Northern Chapter of PORAC which serves Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and Solano counties. Over his eight years serving on the Board of Directors he spent time on the fiscal management and By-law committees. In his 25 years in law enforcement Sean has had many assignments including stints in custody, patrol, professional standards, Crisis Negotiation, Peer Support, FTO, Jail Administrative sergeant, FTO sergeant, and Detective Sergeant. Prior to being assigned to Marin City he was a patrol watch commander and Jail Lieutenant.
