On August 15, 2025, while responding to a roll over traffic collision in Hanford, California, Officer Todd himself was involved in a traffic collision when another motorist pulled out in front of his motorcycle. Officer Todd sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. He has undergone multiple surgeries and remains in the hospital with more surgeries to come. His wife and teenage daughter are by his side as they face emotional and financial strain as he begins a long rehabilitation process.

Funds raised through this campaign will assist with medical expenses not fully covered by insurance, rehabilitation costs, lost wages and family support needs such as travel expenses.
