Are you a skilled law enforcement professional seeking a dynamic career as Chief of Police working for one of the fastest growing ports on the West Coast?

The Port of Stockton has an exciting opportunity for Chief of Police who will be instrumental in ensuring the preservation of order and protection of life and property. This position will oversee Port Police Department programs, services, and activities, while enforcing federal, state, and local laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations within the Port’s authority.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in criminal and administrative investigations, field operations, background investigations, training, and budget management. The successful incumbent will be an influential leader, strategic thinker, and effective communicator possessing strong interpersonal skills. This is an at-will position subject to an employment agreement.
