Police Sergeant
Minimum qualifications for the position:
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Associate’s Degree.
Experience:
Minimum of one-year full-time experience as a Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, or other sworn California Peace Officer, working in the field as a solo beat officer or equivalent. Time as a trainee in a field training program does not qualify.
License and Certificates:
Class C California Driver License.
Possession of California P.O.S.T. Basic Certificate.
