Police Officer -
(Lateral, Academy, Graduate, Entry Level)

Salary Range: $96k to 116k/yr
Entry level pays $30/hr. while attending the academy.
Currently negotiating a new contract expected to increase benefits.

The City of Marina is seeking highly motivated, career and community-oriented Police Officer Laterals, Academy Enrolled and/or Graduates, and Entry Level applicants to fill current and anticipated vacancies in the department.

Additional assignments and incentives include; SWAT/CNT, K-9 Officer, Tuition reimbursement ($2,000/yr.), Bilingual pay, FTO, Traffic/Motor unit, Detective (on-call pay), Bike patrol, Education/POST Certificate incentive (up to 7.5%), Drone team, and more!

  • Honors Classic PERS retirement 3% @ 50
  • PEPRA Members PERS 2.7% @ 5
