Benefit Summary

Academy Trained – $7,000 SIGNING BONUS

Individuals who have graduated from POST certified academy program AND/OR have worked as a Peace Officer with a POST recognized California Law Enforcement Agency within the last 12 months but did not complete a probationary period or are no longer employed as a peace officer.

Lateral – $12,000 SIGNING BONUS

Individuals who are currently employed (and completed probation) as a Peace Officer with a POST recognized California Law Enforcement Agency OR are currently employed as peace officer in another State combined with a California P.O.S.T Waiver of Attendance Certificate.
