The City of Gilroy is seeking an experienced law enforcement professional to lead its well-regarded Police Department.
The minimum requirements for this position are a bachelor’s degree in public administration or closely related field, three (3) years as a supervising law enforcement officer at the level of Division Commander or above, and possession of a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Management Certificate. A master’s degree in public administration and completion certificates from the FBI National Academy or POST are desirable.
