Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking experienced, collaborative, and progressive public safety professionals to apply for their next Chief of Police. Reporting to the Vice President of Administration and Finance, the Chief of Police is responsible for creating and implementing a vision integrating the principles of community policing into a comprehensive safety program. The Chief must lead with an equity lens in working with all constituencies and educate and prepare staff to support an inclusive and safe Humboldt community. The Chief of police supervises a department of sixteen and oversees a $4.4M budget.
