PORAC Continues Partnership With Kyle Weatherman as He Backs the Blue While Going Pink

PORAC continued its long-term partnership with Kyle Weatherman for DGM Racing as he debuted his latest PORAC-sponsored tribute paint scheme for his No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro on October 14 at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Weatherman also teamed up with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) campaign of Las Vegas to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention on and off the track, as well as hosting a social media giveaway to encourage donations. In addition to the PORAC logos, the paint scheme included the iconic pink ribbon, the MSABC logo and the name of Weatherman’s future mother-in-law, Barbara Brooks, who is battling stage 4 breast cancer. “Spreading awareness for breast cancer is something very important to me and my family,” Weatherman says. “As my soon-to-be mother-in-law tackles her own fight with breast cancer, it is an honor to join forces with an organization that empowers breast cancer survivors, thrivers and caregivers through their journeys. There is something really powerful about seeing these tribute paint schemes throughout the NASCAR garage during the month of October. I want to extend a huge thank-you to my longstanding partner, PORAC, for allowing our team to revamp this paint scheme and support those who have been affected by this scary illness.”
