Representatives from PORAC and the Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association (SEBA) made their way to the
Las Vegas Motor Speedway to cheer on Kyle Weatherman during the Alsco Uniforms 302 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on September 25. PORAC and SEBA, in partnership with Wolfpack Racing, were the primary sponsors of Weatherman’s #47 Chevrolet Camaro.
In this first playoff race of the season, Weatherman, who drives for Mike Harmon Racing (MHR), finished in 18th place. PORAC’s sponsorship of Weatherman marks our third partnership with MHR for this event and SEBA’s second partnership, building on the immense show of support for law enforcement professionals at the Alsco Uniforms 300 race on March 4 earlier this year.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Kyle, Mike Harmon Racing and the Wolfpack Racing team to showcase their support for peace officers throughout the country,” PORAC President
Brian Marvel says. “As our nation works together to bridge the divide between America’s communities and the men and women in law enforcement who have sworn an oath to protect and serve them, this collaboration has helped to raise awareness of PORAC’s commitment to lead the way forward — one focused on mutual respect, gratitude and understanding.”
“A huge thank-you to Kyle for stepping up and speaking up in support of law enforcement. Our partnership with Kyle and his team has helped us shine a spotlight on the peace officers who deserve to be recognized and commended for their dedication to our communities and our country,” SEBA President and PORAC Region IV Director-at-Large Grant Ward adds.
PORAC is rooting for Weatherman and his team as we finish out the rest of the season and look forward to continuing our successful partnership! A special thank-you to CAHP Credit Union for sponsoring our race suite.
