PORAC Voter Guide – November 2018

The Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) evaluates candidates and issues each election cycle and votes to support or oppose initiatives and to endorse candidates or incumbents in the Legislature. We often conduct personal interviews.

In order to assist you in making your decision in the upcoming election, we would like to share with you our assessment on which candidates seem best suited to support us on law-and-order issues, as well as issues relating to the health and welfare of our members and their families. We realize that you have your own views on candidates and/or incumbents, and we respect that. However, we wanted to share our information and conclusions to assist you in making an informed decision.

With over 50 years of hands-on experience, Perry Strategies is not your typical lobbying firm. They combine deep expertise, long-standing relationships and a commitment to integrity that sets them apart. Their team customizes every approach — whether it’s accelerating a fast-moving initiative or building a strategy from the ground up. For PORAC members, that means having proactive, trusted advocates who don’t just respond to legislation — they stay ahead of it.
