SLPD seeks experienced supervisors/managers who are well-versed in contemporary policing practices and aligned with the Department’s core values. Ideal candidates must display exceptional interpersonal skills and offer proven success in engaging, partnering, and interacting with diverse populations in an urban environment. Requires a minimum of two years of experience as a Police Sergeant in a California municipal PD. High school diploma/GED and 60 college (semester) units or a POST Advanced Certificate required. Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
