Marcelo Blanco is a Lieutenant with the Upland Police Department and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division as a Watch Commander on 4-10 Swings. Marcelo has spent the last 24 years of his career with the City of Upland. He began his career in Law Enforcement as a high school volunteer through an ROP (Regional Occupational Program) class working in Crime Prevention. Upon graduating high school, he was hired part time by the Department as a Cadet.
