PORAC TV has a special edition to share today. PORAC President Ron Cottingham had the opportunity to sit down with Assemblymember Nathan Fletcher, the author of “Chelsea’s Law,” to discuss what this law encompasses and what is being done to address the issue of dangerous sex offenders falling through cracks in the system.

Assembly Bill 1844, “Chelsea’s Law,” by Assemblymember Nathan Fletcher of San Diego, would institute lifetime parole and GPS monitoring for serious sex offenders, as well as other restrictions for anyone convicted of serious and violent sexual offenses.

These videocasts are PORAC’s effort to work in a coordinated manner to communicate the concerns of the public safety community to those who can affect positive change.
