Property/Evidence Supervisor

The City of Santa Monica seeks a team leader to join our organization for the position of Property/Evidence Supervisor. This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of property and evidence in the City’s property room and supervision of assigned staff. Coordinates the day to day operations of the property section and performs line level functions, as needed. Requires: Graduation from high school or the equivalent. Three years of recent, paid work experience in the maintenance and operation of a law enforcement property/evidence room. At least two (2) years of the recent, paid work experience must include supervising or coordinating and leading the work of others or successful completion of the City of Santa Monica’s Pre-Supervisory Academy and one (1) year of leading and coordinating the work of others at the time of application. Possession of a valid Class C driver license.
