Three years of recent, paid work experience in the maintenance and operation of a law enforcement property/evidence room. At least two (2) years of the recent, paid work experience must include supervising or coordinating and leading the work of others or successful completion of the City of Santa Monica’s Pre-Supervisory Academy and one (1) year of leading and coordinating the work of others at the time of application. Accelerated step at hire – Certified lateral officers with 1-2 years of experience as a sworn full time officer are eligible to start at Step 2 of the salary schedule.
