DA Investigator Nick Conrad, recently experienced a medical emergency. After suffering a seizure on duty, further testing revealed that he faces a cancer diagnosis.
Redlands Police Officer Seth Franklin was diagnosed with Stage 3 melanoma cancer on his left forearm in September of 2022. He has courageously fought cancer for two and half years. His cancer eventually progressed to stage 4 and ultimately took his life April 6th, 2025.
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Officer Osmar Rodarte of the Marysville Police Department lost his life in the line of duty. He worked for Marysville for two years. He was only 27 years old. Marysville Police Department is a small agency in Northern California's central valley with only 17 sworn officers.
